Repairs

We have fixed prices for all the common repairs, from repairing punctures to replacing bottom brackets, based on our labour rate of £36/hour. All other work that isn’t a service, such as a rebuild, is priced by assessment – bring your bike in for an estimate.

When we source parts from other retailers that our suppliers do not stock we apply a surcharge of £5 for parts up to a value of £50, £10 up £100, £15 up to £150, etc, plus postage. You can source these parts yourself if you wish.

Our work is guaranteed for 1 month.

Servicing

A service includes checking and where necessary adjusting gears, brakes, headset, bottom bracket, wheels, hubs, tyres, and assessing wear in the drivetrain.

For bicycles 10 speed and over, Bromptons, tricycles, tandems, belt drives and e-bikes the cost of a service is £50 plus parts.

For bicycles 9 speed and under the cost of a service is £35 plus parts.

Simple adjustments when assessing a bike and air for tyres are free (donations always gratefully received).

The workshop is accessible by bike and on foot from Corn Street or Ashcombe Close, a 2 minute bike ride from Witney Town Centre.

We are on the S1 bus route linking Oxford, Witney and Carterton. Alight at the Witney Bus Garage stop a 1 minute walk/wheel away.

We only have 2 car parking places on site, so unless you have a blue badge, please park nearby and walk/wheel in.
