Our volunteers are at the heart of the project – be that at the workshop, on the roads and tracks or at Wheels For All. We welcome volunteers from all walks of life so if you love bikes, enjoy collaborating with people or just want to help out in whatever way you can, please get in touch.

Volunteer roles:

Workshop volunteer – assessing donated bikes, stripping bikes for parts, refurbishing bikes for the bike library or sale, helping with other workshop tasks. Slots available weekly including Saturdays. No previous experience required – we can give you full training.

Workshop mechanic volunteer – Refurbishing donated bikes, servicing and repair on clients bike under supervision of the lead mechanic.

Wheels for All volunteer – helping to set up sessions, encouraging participants to try bikes, join in the fun, clear up sessions.

Ride leader/ride supporter – join our rides with returning or new cyclists, be a supportive and friendly face, enjoy the fresh air!

Varied – help with selling stuff on ebay, help with marketing and communications, or something we haven’t yet thought of. If you think your skills could help us please let us know.

Volunteer induction process:

  1. Email us to check we are recruiting for your chosen role
  2. Complete and return our self declaration form
  3. Attend an induction so we can show you the ropes
  4. Sign up for a regular slot or to be part of a rota
  5. Join the fun!
