From now until the start of the Women’s Tour of Britain in Bicester we’ll be celebrating the use of the most fun and efficient machine ever invented.

“Every time I see an adult on a bicycle, I no longer despair for the future of the human race.”

HG Wells

That was pre-climate change, but whether it’s a bicycle, tricycle, hand-bike, e-bike or cargo-bike, cycling could yet come to the rescue.

Along with other cycling groups, community projects and local councils and businesses across Oxfordshire, we’re putting on some events to help everyone join in the fun.

DIY Workshop begins again in September. We’ll be in Charlbury on Saturday Sep 11th supporting the Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust’s Kids’ Rally and Charlbury School Association’s Bike Gymkhana with e-bike tryouts and Dr Bike. Our very family friendly Potter to the Pottery is on Sunday Sep 19th, and for the first time we’ll be running buddy rides to help people find their way in and around Witney by bike on Car Free Day on Wednesday Sep 22nd.

Wheels for All will be launching in October at Wood Green School and the fun culminates in the first stage of the Women’s Tour starting from Bicester on Monday Oct 4th which skirts Eynsham and passes through Bladon.

Beyond that – just ride :o)
