Community Workshop, 152b Corn Street, Witney. OX28 6BY

Opening hours by appointment (for repairs, servicing, DIY workshop and volunteering): Monday 10-2pm, Friday 9-5pm, Saturday 10-4pm

Repairs and servicing.  We offer a high quality and competitive repair service including e-bikes and Bromptons. We are still open by appointment only – please contact us to make an appointment.

Adult courses.  We run our adult learning drop in courses funded by Abingdon and Witney College. If you are out of work, recovering from ill health, lonely or isolated we can give you 11 hours of free tuition on bike mechanics.    This can set you up to volunteer for us in the longer term.

Schools mechanics.  We offer mechanics courses to children at secondary school.

DIY workshop – unfortunately due to the Covid pandemic our DIY service is closed for the moment.

Volunteering.  Due to Covid we only have a limited volunteering programme however during these sessions volunteers work on donated or abandoned bikes to get them roadworthy.  These will be used on our ‘build a bike’ courses for vulnerable people, or given to Key Workers or school children who don’t have a bike as part of our partnership with Active Oxfordshire.  We also sell these bikes.

Many thanks to the Phillimore Charitable Trust, Greensquare Housing Association and the Mid Counties Cooperative, Awards for All, The Funding Network, Jim Cousins Trust, Bartlett Taylor Trust as well as a number of individuals for your generous grants.
