Bikeability Level 3 training is a one day course designed to equip trainees with skills to deal with different types of road conditions and more challenging traffic situations. The course covers dealing with hazards, making ‘on-the-move’ risk assessments and planning routes for safer cycling. Our next course runs on either Monday 24th July or Tuesday 25th July 2017. Junior Bike Maintenance – £40
A 4 hour course for children aged 8 to 14 years old. This will be fun and practical right from the start. Children will change wheels, replace inner tubes, patch punctures and adjust brakes. This course is lead by Cary Johnson who has worked with children and bikes for many years. All staff and volunteers are fully insured and DBS checked. Next Junior Course is 17th February 2017.
Basic Bike Maintenance – £75
Three 2 hour sessions on consecutive Tuesday evenings covering the fundamentals of bike maintenance and repair. Learn how to make a bike run smoothly and keep it that way, including fixing a flat, keeping the brakes sharp and tuning the gears. £75.
