Get to know your bike – online course

On line – Map

6.30pm - 8.00pm

This online course is for people who are completely new to owning or caring for a bike.  To be eligible for this funded course you should live in Oxfordshire*, commit to two 1.5 hour evening sessions, be over the age of 19, and have been resident in the UK or EEA (European Economic Area) for the past 3 years.

You will be working on your own bike, supported via Zoom by John our mechanic trainer.  By the end of the course you will be able to:

  • know what components are fitted to your bike
  • check your bike and know when things are not right
  • mend a puncture
  • make minor alterations
  • know how to clean and care for your bike

To sign up to this free course funded by Abingdon and Witney College you need access to Zoom on a tablet or laptop. This is an interactive taught course so you need to be able to position your laptop/phone/tablet with enough light so John (our trainer) can see your bike (we can give you tips).

Please fill in the booking form below, remember to choose the course you can attend, and we will then send you more detailed instructions on how to join the class. This will include filling out an enrolment form.

If you have any questions please contact us.

*If you do not live in Oxfordshire you may still be able to do the course, we are just clarifying the funding rules.  Please send me an email and I can put you on a waiting list.
